Ordered through UberEats the other night when we had a crowd, and the first restaurant I tried to order from errored out with a "find another restaurant" message. It was a Saturday night around 6 and was about 90 minutes before the food arrived (they are only about an 8 minute drive), so they presumably get pretty busy. The food was pretty good, the doro wat was a little greasier than I prefer, the shiro was nice and creamy, and the folks who ordered veggie combos loved them (I was gifted someone's beets and they were good). The portions were huge and the prices were much lower than other restaurants, esp. through UberEats. I wouldn't say it's the absolute best in town but my friend of African descent who knows the cuisine better than I said hers was very good. I would definitely order again for a crowd, but would try to get the order in earlier before the evening rush, because I was pretty hungry by the time it all arrived. I might try the tibs next time.

This is my go to spot! I love their vegan and non vegan dishes. Their meat meals are on point and always a pleasure for my family of 6 for Friday night dinners. The butter they use to marinate the meat dishes is to die for! The staff is very friendly and the owner Daniel is the kindest man you'll ever meet.

We ordered three dishes from grub hub tonight for dinner. First dish was the veggie combo which had six items packed into the container. All were pretty good and plentiful. One critic is that I felt like the yellow lEntils could have used more cook time as they were a little hard. Second dish was lamb ribs which had good flavor but was cooked wellllllllllll done. It reminded me of how myy grandmother would cook meat. She cooked it so long that it was almost too hard to eat. Lol. Third dish was doro wat which is always a favorite. The flavor was good bUt we only had one little chicken drumstick, no egg, some cheese and Lots of sauce. Usually when I get Ethiopian food I ordeR a meat combo and or a veggie combo. So in the combo it kind of makes seNSe to me that there is only one drumstick. But as an main dish, I'm pretty dissapointed that there was only one little piece of chicken. The menu read "drumsticks" so I assumed there would be at least two and then one egg. Nope. So. Regardless of the issues I had this place probably has the best flavor out of most Ethiopian places I've tried recently. Though I have not tried all the places in dtss. But for a local take out or deliver spot, this place does the job.

So I've only had their food through Uber Eats, but it's pretty much a monthly ritual :) Their vegetarian combo is the stuff dreams are made of, if your dreams consisted of Ethiopian food. Not only are all the veggies tasty and seasoned, but it's perfectly balanced. Some are spicier, some are milder, and the flavors complement one another perfectly. The cabbage dish even tastes good, and I'm not the biggest fan. Like if it's there I'll eat it just to avoid being wasteful, but the one here is actually tasty :D not as tasty as the yellow lentils, or the salad, but close! Bonus: They use the dark injera! It has a ton more flavor, which makes my taste buds happy :D

This is a great spot to you grab breakfast, lunch or dinner to go or to sit in and eat. Very nice space. Great place to refill the tummy for approximately $10. Yum! And, they can do coffee/ latté stuff!
